With these leaks of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 getting more numerous, has anyone asked what happens if they’re not big hits? They’ll never be flops, in the usual sense of the word, but if it continues the downwards trend of Vanguard, or is even just a small increase, at what point does anyone start to say that Call Of Duty may have had its day?
CALL OF DUTY 3 PS2 PLUS
I have no idea if any of these games are going to make it onto PS Plus Extra but I hope so, because some of them haven’t seen the light of day for quite a while. We’ve obviously got to that era of nostalgia where lots of PlayStation 2 games are getting revived but as well as Ico I also loved Burnout 2, Ōkami, Katamari Damacy, Persona 4, SSX Tricky. That still leaves the amazing Ico though, as well as other undisputed classics like Silent Hill 2 (also rumoured to be getting a remake), Resident Evil 4 (ditto), Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time (also ditto), and Metal Gear Solid 3 (there were rumours at least). I definitely recommend it.Shadows Of The Colossus, for example, is a great game but in my opinion there’s zero reason you shouldn’t play the PlayStation 4 remake instead. I’ve played some of that last one and it’s a bit like Hades, a combat-focused rogue lite all about cleaving your way through dungeons filled with enemies and traps. These are FIFA 22, Tribes of Midgard and Curse of the Dead Gods.

Still, it also means that you have a whole extra week to download May’s PS Plus games.
This happens, albeit rarely, from time to time and it never fails to throw me and a lot of other PS Plus subscribers for a loop. This means that the actual reveal of next month’s games won’t take place until Wednesday, June 1st-the first Wednesday of next month rather than the final Wednesday of this one. Well, it turns out that next Tuesday is May 31st, so June’s PS Plus games won’t actually release until the following Tuesday, June 7th. The actual rule of thumb is that Sony reveals the coming month’s games on the Wednesday that falls before the first Tuesday of the following month. Typically, Sony reveals the next month’s lineup of games on the final Wednesday of the month, but there are exceptions to this.
Sometimes, you just don’t notice how the calendar shakes out. Specifically, we expected to see the free games for June revealed yesterday, on Wednesday the 25th.Įven I made this mistake. Ī lot of PlayStation Plus subscribers were looking forward to the official June lineup reveal this week. What games do you hope to see next month? Will you be signing up for one of the more expensive tiers? Let me know on Twitter or Facebook. Other possible titles include Spiritfarer, Rust and Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, all of which would make sense for June’s PS Plus lineup since these are older titles that have yet to come to the service.
CALL OF DUTY 3 PS2 FOR FREE
The Worldslayer expansion would be more tempting to players who got the game for free that same month. Outriders is another good guess since there’s an expansion set for June 28th. Other options include a Call Of Duty game since Modern Warfare 2 is set to be revealed next month and COD titles often make it onto PS Plus around a reveal.
